Regrets:

  • Regret not sticking to the trading plan.

  • Regret over-leveraging and taking on too much risk.

  • Regret revenge trading after a loss.

  • Regret letting small losses turn into big ones by not setting stop-losses.

  • Regret missing out on clear setups due to hesitation (FOMO in reverse).

  • Regret listening to 'gurus' or 'hot tips' instead of doing my own analysis.

  • Regret using money I couldn't afford to lose.

Fears:

  • Fear of losing the remaining capital.

  • Fear of never recovering the money already lost.

  • Fear of pressing the trade button again (trade-phobia).

  • Fear of being a permanent failure in trading.

  • Fear of disappointing family or partners.

  • Fear that the market is "out to get me."

  • Fear that the next trade will wipe out my account.

  • Fear of losing the remaining capital → Psychological

3️. Admit the fact:

These fears and regrets have already served me.

Then - the most important thing.

Say out loud to each sticky note:

Thank you for the experience. I return everything with respect and peace.

After that, tear up or burn the sheet.

This is not magic.

This is a symbol of the fact that you no longer live in yesterday.

Do it today.

Take a bunch of sticky notes.

Write.

Give thanks.

And consolidate the situation again.

Who I Am, and Why I Know Mastering Inner Game of Trading with Alligator Approach Works

  • “Why do I panic even when I know my setup?”

  • “Why do I break rules only when real money is on the line?”

  • “Why can’t I trade like I know what to do?”

Anchor 1

13 Principles to Stop Panic When Trading: Alligator Approach

The Alligator Approach trains you to stay calm when it matters most—

so, your emotion stops interfering with what you already know right for your trading.

To trade really well, you need two things: the 'outer game' and the 'inner game.'

Almost everyone who tried trading but fail and now fearful to give them a second chance has one thing common.

They started the trading with outer game.

The outer game is all about the basics: which market to trade, what strategy to use, your trading plan, and how much money you can risk for a certain goal.

But it's usually easier to know these rules than to actually follow them.

Then when they actually place few trade, they start wondering, " why I make bad decisions, even I knew it was wrong" or "Why do I keep making the same mistake that costs me more money than planned" even though I know what supposed to do?

And they start struggling to stop their behavior.

This is the 'inner game,' which happens in your mind. It's played against problems like losing focus, feeling nervous, and doubting yourself. You'll realize that unless you master this inner game, it will stop you from reaching your best trading performance.

When you master the inner game, you'll see new possibilities and enter a 'flow state' where overcoming these mental hurdles becomes easy for you.
